Lubrication Pastes
1. Lubrication Pastes with MoS2
MOLYDUVAL Lubrication Pastes consist of a wide range of modern high performance lubricants based mainly on Molybdenum Disulfide of the highest purity that has been reduced to micro fineness in a special process pre-serving the all important laminar structure. MOLYDUVAL Lubrication Pastes are for example assembly and multi purpose pastes for slide faces at high, normal or low temperatures, achieving emergency or long-term lubrication with a very low friction coefficient.
Quick Paste | ||
Run-in and assembly paste with a maximum part of MoS2 for multi purposes. Improved running-in conditions. Reduces friction and wear, assembly and disassembly will go easier. The solid lubricant MoS2 protects against wear, running-in defects and guarantees good antifrictional properties. | • for screw connections under maximum load and high temperature. Easy dismounting after long periods of operation | -35°C up to +450°C Mineral + Synthetic Oil Even available as spray: |

Quick PG | ||
Synthetic high-temperature paste for reducing friction at maximum temperature and maximum load. The synthesis oil carrier evaporates at > 200oC without residue and dry lubrication begins. No residue, no sticking, and high resistance to chemicals. | • for hot steam screws and other screws in powder plants, refineries, steelworks, foundries, rolling mills and in chemical industry, even under maximum temperatures and maximum load | -40°C up to +700°C Carrier Synthetic Oil |
Quick VL | ||
Assembly paste for precision surfaces. Contains MoS2 in a very special fineness. Long-term lubricant. | • for precision instruments, household appliances, measuring instruments etc. | -35°C up to +450°C / +640°C Mineral Oil based |
Black Paste | ||
Much softer than the Quick Pastes. Black Paste is for greasy lubrication of bearings at highest pressures in highest temperatures. Lubrication is easier. Excellent suitable for relubrication. | • for long-term lubrication | -40°C up to +450°C Mineral Oil based |
2. Lubrication Pastes with Graphite
Pure graphite pastes are well known as a thermal stable lubricant even under high conditions. The decomposition of graphite at highest temperatures is without residue. Up to 600°C graphite shows a very low friction coefficient, best lubrication even under claim conditions.
Quick GM | ||
Heavy-duty paste with finest graphite, water-repellent, age-resistant, corrosion preventive. | • For hot screws off all kind | -20°C up to +700°C NLGI 2 Mineral Oil Based |
Quick GS | ||
Graphite paste on synthetic oil base with highest purity, no sulfur, no copper, no zinc._ | • Same as Quick GM | -40°C up to +700°C NLGI 0-1 Synthetic Oil Based |
Quick GN | ||
Graphite based paste of high pureness, synthetic oil based, no sulfur, no copper, no zinc, nuclear grade | • Same as Quick GM | -40°C up to +700°C NLGI 0-1 Synthetic Oil Based Even available as spray: |
3. White Colour Pastes
White Colour pastes mostly contain PTFE or inorganic lubrication powders. PTFE offers a low coeffi-cient of friction but not this high pressure stability as molybdenum Disulphide do. It's used for lubrica-tion of plastics under low pressure. PTFE offers also very good stability against temperature, oxygen, and metals. Inorganic solid white lubricants are used for a wide temperatures, offer good protection from corrosion. White-Colour lubricants for the points of lubrication where dark pastes are not appro-priated for reasons of contamination. White-Colour pastes are also used for lubrication in the high temperatures of warm working and as parting compounds.
Carat 26 | ||
Light-colour multi-purpose lubrication and assembly pastes for high loads. Offers good protection from corrosion especially from friction oxidation (tribocorrosion), is water-repellent, has good adhesion and protects from rust, stick-slip and seizing. This grease paste is suitable for long-life lubrication of sliding parts off all kinds. Extends relubrication intervals. | • for slides and screw connections under high load and vibrations | -30°C up to +135°C Mineral Oil Even available as Spray: |
Carat 1 | ||
Offers best corrosion protection, is water resistant, adhesive, and protects against tribologic oxidation. Carat 1 may be used in food industry, because all components conform to DAB, USDA or FDA regulations. | • Same as Carat 26 | -30°C up to +250°C NLGI 4-5 |
Carat 11 | ||
Very tacky lubrication paste for open gears, based on biodegradable synthetic ester oil. Good protection from corrosion, good load-carrying capacity, protects against tribocorrosion | • for lubrication slow motion gears | -20°C up to +120°C NLGI 2 |

4. Metal Compounds
MOLYDUVAL Metal Compounds are containing a high percentage of pure and soft metal powders. They are used as assembly lubricants for screws and bolt joints at extreme temperatures up to 1200°C. They protect very good against corrosion.
